Holders of an Australian driver’s license can now drive freely throughout Greece without the need for an international driver’s license.

The measure entered into force on November 5, 2021.
Previously, Australian tourists and residents could drive in Greece for an unlimited time as long as they were in possession of a valid Australian driver’s license and a Valid international driving license issued by the state / territory in which the driver’s license was issued. This permit is no longer required.
